FIGARO-TINI - Recipe

Tis the season for figs. And London is a wash with delicious fig trees ripe for picking.

Indulge in your sweet side with the combination of fig and cacao wrapped around vanilla rum. A sweetness overload stopped only by the lightest touch of lime juice to bring this cocktail back down to earth.

 

Serves: 1

Ingredients

1/2 Fig

15ml Gomme Syrup

10ml Lime Juice

30ml Sailor Jerry's

20ml Creme de Cacao


Equipment Needed

Cocktail Shaker

Fine Strainer ( or a flour sieve)

Coupe glass


Method

  1. Slice a fig in half and scoop out the insides into your cocktail shaker.

  2. Squeeze in the lime juice and add the gomme syrup, Sailor Jerry's and Creme de Cacao.

  3. Fill the shaker with cubed ice and give a liberal shake until the mixture is ice cold.

  4. Strain the cocktail into the coupe glass through the fine strainer, removing all the broken fig bits.

The Fig season is fruitful but short to get out, get picking and enjoy this sweet treat by a toasty fire.
